Arizona State Credit Union to Attempt GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® Record

The Credit Union to attempt record on Arizona State University Tempe Campus

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona State Credit Union will attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® record for “Most False Mustaches Worn in One Place at One Time” on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus. All community members are welcome to attend, and there is no age limit for those who can participate.

The record attempt event, called Stache-a-Palooza, will take place on August 28, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on ASU’s Sun Devil Fitness Complex Fields (SDFC) on the Tempe campus, and will include prize giveaways and live music. The current record to beat is 2,268 people, and mustaches will be provided to all participants. Community members are encouraged to use the Light Rail to attend the event, and are welcome to take advantage of Valley Metro’s Park-and-Ride service if traveling from other parts of the valley.

“We are very excited to attempt this record, and to increase awareness about the Credit Union in the Tempe community,” said David E. Doss, CEO/President of Arizona State Credit Union. “We value our cooperative relationship with ASU, and are looking forward to working with them to break this record.”

If the record is broken, all participants will have the option to purchase a certificate acknowledging the successful record attempt, and will have the opportunity to submit photos and videos to the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS organization® that could potentially be used to publicize the event.
