Fraud Alert – If you receive a suspicious call or text message claiming to be from a OneAZ Representative, please call the phone number on the back of your credit or debit card. If OneAZ contacts you, we will never ask for personal/account information or Online Banking Credentials (password, username, or passcodes) by phone or text message.

To better serve you, we upgraded our systems over Labor Day weekend.

Next Steps

Now that our upgrade is complete, here are a few additional steps you may need to take.

  • Login Issues

Some members are being prompted to enter a PIN in Online or Mobile Banking. In most cases, this is because the member is attempting to use login credentials that are no longer valid. Please log into Online, Mobile or Telephone Banking using the login credentials from the first (oldest) open account you established with OneAZ Credit Union.

  • Joint Account Holders

Joint account holders who do not have their own primary account with OneAZ Credit Union will no longer have an Online Banking username and password as of September 4. However, the primary account holder can provide access to view, transfer, and/or set up Bill Pay on their account(s), including a new unique username and password that will give them access to Online Banking.

To do this, the primary account holder should log into Online Banking and select “Share Access with Others” from the Additional Services dropdown in the navigation bar. The primary account holder can add sub-users and manage their permissions. The sub-user will then receive an email at the address provided with directions on how to set up their account.

  • OneAZ Visa Credit Card

If you have a OneAZ Visa Credit Card, you will need to re-register the card the first time you log into Online Banking after September 3, 2018. You can do this by clicking on your Visa credit card account name and filling in the registration form.

  • Transfer Between My Accounts

If you use the “Transfer Between My Accounts” option to make external transfers, and your OneAZ memberships will become linked under one new member number after the technology upgrade, you may need to reestablish your enrollment in external transfers. You may do so by calling us at 1.844.663.2928 and selecting option 5, then option 1.

If you previously had multiple OneAZ Credit Union memberships, they will become linked to one member number, which is your oldest OneAZ account number.

  • Quicken/QuickBooks

If you use Quicken or QuickBooks to track your expenses, we recommend that you back up your data prior to the technology upgrade. You will also need to deactivate and reactivate your OneAZ Credit Union account(s) in Quicken or QuickBooks after the technology upgrade. You can find full instructions for Quicken account changes here. Business members who use QuickBooks can find instructions for account changes here.

Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions

Why is OneAZ Credit Union upgrading its system?

The new system will allow us to be competitive and innovative, and offer an easy, enjoyable and effective member experience for many years to come. Some of the improvements you can expect are:

  • The new system will process transactions more efficiently
  • For Online and Mobile Banking, all your accounts will be accessible with one User ID
  • Simplified loan application process and faster decisions, so you spend less time filling out forms
  • Easier-to-read monthly statements with helpful summaries
  • Even greater security enhancements to keep information safe for all members

Will my account number(s) change?

Your account number(s) will have a new look in the upgraded system. We will add a number at the beginning of your current account number to identify the account type (savings, auto loan, etc.). Checking and HELOC accounts will not change, so your current account number will remain the same.

You will see your new account number(s) in online and mobile banking after the upgrade.

We will also link your various account numbers to one Member Number, which is tied to your Social Security Number. If you currently have multiple individual account numbers, your oldest account number—the account you have had with us the longest—will be used as your member number.

Will my OneAZ Credit Union debit card be reissued after the upgrade?

Your debit card will not be reissued. You may continue to use your current debit card without interruption.

Will my OneAZ Credit Union debit card PIN change?

Your debit card PIN will remain the same. You may continue to use your current debit card PIN without interruption.

Will my paycheck direct deposit be affected by the technology upgrade?

Direct deposits into your account will not be affected by the technology upgrade. They will continue as scheduled.

Will my scheduled transfers in online banking continue to work after the technology upgrade?

If you have scheduled auto-transfers in Popmoney or Funds Transfer, you will need to reestablish them after the technology upgrade with your new account number(s). Auto transfers from checking accounts must also be reestablished even though the account number will not change.

Will my statements look different?

Yes. After the technology upgrade your statements will have a new, easier-to-read format.

Will the branch ask for my identification?

Yes. For your added protection, we may scan your license or other identification the next time you visit a branch. After your identification is scanned, we will be able to identify you faster and prevent unauthorized activity.

Will my direct deposit(s) remain in place?

Yes. Any direct deposits you have established will remain in place.

I have ACH transfers set up from another financial institution to make payments into my OneAZ account(s). Since my account number(s) have changed, do I need to reestablish those transfers?

You do not need to reestablish payments from an outside financial institution into your OneAZ accounts; they will continue to post to the proper account(s). Going forward, when setting up new ACH transfers from outside financial institutions, you will need to provide your new account number(s).

Will fees change as a result of the technology upgrade?

Our technology upgrade was all about providing more benefits for our members, so we're happy to share that we have reduced some of our fees by ending our Essential and Enhanced account identification. Here's what you can expect:

Will my overdraft protection change?

For most members, your overdraft protection will not change.

If you previously had two checking accounts set up as overdraft protection for one another, you will need to change your overdraft protection. Beginning August 31, 2018, those checking accounts will no longer be protected from overdrawn funds. In order to ensure that you continue to prevent your checking account(s) from overdrafting and receiving non-sufficient funds fees, you will need to update your overdraft protection.

Will my online banking look different after the technology upgrade?

Yes, you will notice some changes in online banking after the technology upgrade. For instance, your accounts will now be listed in alphabetical order based on the account description (i.e. “checking” or “emergency savings”).

If you are joint on another member’s account, you might notice that the account name or description is different in the new system. You can change this by changing the nickname of the account in account settings. This nickname will only reflect on your account, not the primary owner’s account.

Will joint account holders be able to log in to online banking after the technology upgrade?

Joint account holders who do not have their own primary account with OneAZ Credit Union will not be able to log into Online Banking with their own unique User ID. These account holders can join OneAZ Credit Union and set up an Online Banking User ID, at which time they will be able to access the account they are joint on.

We do not recommend sharing your Online Banking User ID and password with anyone. After the technology upgrade, all your OneAZ Credit Union accounts will be visible under one login. If you have shared your Online Banking credentials (even with joint account holders) we recommend changing your password and keeping it private.

Will I see my account history in online banking after the technology upgrade?

Yes, your account history will be available in online banking.

How do I log in to my OneAZ Online or Mobile Banking account?

Joint account holders who do not have their own primary account with OneAZ Credit Union no longer have an Online Banking username and password as of September 4.

We do not recommend sharing your Online Banking username and password with anyone. All your OneAZ Credit Union accounts are visible under one login. If you have shared your Online Banking credentials (even with joint account holders) we recommend changing your password and keeping it private.

Will I need to reestablish my bill payments and payees on Bill Pay?

If you are like most members who had only one Bill Pay, all your payments and payees will be retained as they are today.

If you used Bill Pay on more than one OneAZ membership account, your Bill Pay will only be retained on your oldest OneAZ account (your new Member Number). You will need to re-add payees from your other Bill Pays and reestablish bill payments on your new Member Number. You can then select the account that each payment comes from.
